Just managed to watch Madonna’s amazing performance (her work ethic is ALOT!) at halftime of Super bowl XLVI, and noticed some of the b-boy stylee dancers wearing some dope Adidas trackies…found out it was yet another Jeremy Scott n Adidas Originals collab…ill be the first to admit i’m slightly envious of his creative freedom with such brands…imagine going into ‘work’, thinking up the most random schieet and having the means to to produce it, literally no limits…now thats a beautiful thing! The Musical Note Tracksuit will be dropping in March at all select Adidas Originals stores.

Over the past few months, residents, Groundwork London and Hackney Homes have been working hard to transform the community garden at Linzell Estate in Hackney.

Groundwork called me up to run some workshop sessions at Bsix Sixth Form College in Clapton, which will eventually result in an environmental / ‘foresty’ inspired mural on a wall in the Linzell Garden area, with the help of the Sixth Formers generating potential ideas.

Reached Upmarket, Brick Lane, after a month off, and the one time I decide to reach it snowed! I for one, always try my very best not to let this ‘good’ ol random british weather get in the way of one’s quest to sell freshness to the spending public, even if it snows! The turn out was pretty schweet considering, nuff oversized bobble hats n wench fur coats!

Big up my new customers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Geramny (seriously, if you wanna brush up on your languages, Upmarket is the place to be…gonna be fluent in each by the end of the year, watch!) and the trio, Rins / Cree / Danielle, from down the road

The only thing that jarred me was my toes, even with triple socks on, they were chap-a-lapin!

The first PINS Workshop of the year kicked off at Charlton School, a Group 7 Community Special (ages 11–19) School for students with low incidence special educational needs. They asked me to come down and deliver some creative therapy sessions which would allow the young people to express themselves through t-shirt/cap/canvas design and then all come together at the end to create an Olympic inspired mural.

The first session normally kicks off with some ‘Free thinking’ exercises, essential for the generation and flow of ideas, progressing onto idea development and then final outcomes…similar to how most Designers do their thing, literally breakdown the process.

I’ve always enjoyed running these workshops from way back in the days…the feeling of inspiring others, them inspiring you with crazy ideas, and having nuff jokes…can’t beat that…almost feels therapeutic at times, I know, random, but hey, that’s me!
